Confession Time.

Unless you've been living under a rock, you know that we Smith's are involved with a lot of weddings this year.  Really, for the past few years, but this year is exceptionally a doozy.  The Smith's are in five weddings this year, not counting the parties and events that we frequent on the weekends.  So... I decided to challenge myself to not buy any clothes during this year's wedding season.  Not a new dress for a wedding, not a new outfit for a party.... nada, nothing.  And I've been really, really good.  Not one stitch of clothing has been purchased for the entire wedding season!

Until last week.

When I saw this perfect ensemble on Nordstrom's website.

On Clearance.  For under $100.

Through Ebates, where I got 5% cash back for it's purchase.

In the perfect shade of blue for Sister's Rehearsal Dinner.

In my size, which they never, EVER have.

It.  Had.  To.  Be.  Fate.

It.  Had.  To.  Be.  Mine.

And now it is, and I only feel 43% guilty about it.

Hello Lovah.

Granted, that's not me in the picture, but I think I can still pull it off.

I'm back on the bandwagon now, I promise.

  1. LOVE LOVE LOVE it. Totally worth it. If I get a horrible stomach virus and lose 20 pounds, I want to borrow.
No judgment here. I just bought two off modcloth. The site that you sent me. Trying to pull me off the bandwagon too?

  3. Oh oh oh....and PS- I bought all of my ingredients to make your pork chop recipe. I'm excited. I'll let you know my thoughts. Of course, I bought all of that mess and on the way home realized Jason Black doesn't like mustard..... of any kind. SIGH! MEN!

  4. Exactly. I probably shouldn't have been on Nordstrom's website to begin with. Those on the wagon should not be tempted. Even by themselves.
