Happenings

We're a pretty boring bunch around here these days.

I blame Winter and the natural trend to hibernate.

In other news, I've discovered Instagram.

Yes, I realize I'm eons behind with this awesome little guy.

But I'm loving having an even easier route to capture our daily happenings with H.

Follow along!  I'm "christinacsmith" on there.

Thanks to Brother and Sister-in-Law, I scored Homeland Season One for Christmas.

Might I say it has taken precedent in our evening television watching?

So, my apologies.  But unless your name is Carrie Mathison or Sgt. Nicholas Brody, you will not capture our attention between 9-10 p.m. at night.

I highly recommend it.

Cabin Fever

It's been raining here for 84 days in a row.

Okay, that's a slight exaggeration.

But seriously - a long time.

And this week we even had a "Winter Storm Advisory."

Which in Alabama means we received maybe 1-2 inches of snow.

So... we've been grasping at "inside" activities.

Enter... iPhone Camera.

These were too cute not to share!

I know one little buddy who was thrilled at the idea of a girl cousin to play with, and not at all by the fun pink balloons that him and T played with!

Congrats Sister!!!

We are so excited for you, and can't wait to meet Baby Girl Whitfield!

Happy Birthday Mr. Smith!

Mr. Smith celebrated his birthday this week - Big 29!

He recently got back from a long weekend at the Farm in Mississippi, where he snagged this beauty.
Or should I say, nature's birthday gift to him?

Note:  we are not trying to recreate Duck Dynasty with this beard, camo, or just plain Southerness of the picture.

I also bestowed upon Mr. Smith a perfect birthday gift -

A consecutive National Championship from our Crimson Tide.
You're Welcome.

All kidding aside,  Mr. Smith had a wonderful week, celebrating with Mr. and Mrs. Carroll with Mexican food Wednesday night, and then yummy gourmet pizza last night at Slice with T, MiMi, Sister, and Whit.
